Vert d'Orezza (Corsican green stone)

Scarce Corsican semiprecious stone, also known as 'Verdi di Corsica', it is part of the grabbros' family (igneous rocks). The green mineral contained in the stone is called 'smaragdite' (from 'esmeragda': emerald). Appreciated by many Florentine artists, one can find the 'Vert d'Orezza' in several works of art such as the Medici Chapel in Florence. All of our jewels are made with real Corsican natural stones.
